The guacamole at this restaurant was one of the best I've had anywhere. It had a nice tanginess to it and it was chunky and creamy and so delicious. I think the only thing that could have made it any better was some chili peppers in the guacamole . I don't think they had that option though because I wasn't asked. Special shout out because they created a vegetarian menu here! It's sort of a secret menu you have to ask about it but the enchiladas were filled with zucchini and squash and broccoli and topped with cheese . They also offered the same option for their quesadillas, burrito , and other offerings. The refried beans on the side were also really great. I wanted to give this restaurant a 5 star , but I didn't really like that they up charged for credit card usage. A friend of mine works at a company that sells credit card merchant accounts and have been told that when you swipe the card in person you pay only 1-2% max. In no situation for card present do you pay 3%. The sign says it's to help offset credit card costs but in reality it makes a small profit from when you use your card.

During a weekend getaway to Palm Desert, my husband and I stumbled upon this lively and contemporary Mexican restaurant for dinner, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Chicken Fiesta Taco Meal for two, which was an absolute feast. It included four different types of meat--beef, chicken, pork, and chorizo--served alongside rice, beans, and all the fixings you need to assemble your tacos just the way you like them. The food arrived quickly, and the DIY taco setup made the meal interactive and fun. To complement the meal, we enjoyed two refreshing margaritas that paired perfectly with the bold flavors of the food. The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, adding to the overall experience. The price point was reasonable, making this an excellent spot for a delicious and affordable meal. The combination of great food, a lively vibe, and attentive service ensures that I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you're in the Palm Desert area!

I had eaten at Fresh Agave and really enjoyed everything about my meal but that was just before the pandemic. Unfortunately, the pandemic changed our dining out options and I never got back there. Last night I attended a Christmas Party there and was reminded what a fantastic restaurant and dining experience this is, From the moment I arrived it couldn't have been better. The hostess was courteous and friendly and directed me to the back patio where the tables were all set up including chips and salsa. Before I even had a chance to say hi to everyone, there was a waiter checking to see if I wanted something to drink. That was just the beginning of a night of excellent service. At nicely space intervals there was guacamole, then a really delicious small stuffed pepper and then it was time to sit down and order dinner. At a table of ten people I think almost everyone ordered something different. The food arrived very quickly and then there was a lot of silence as everyone dug in. Despite large portions of food, when we were done, there were lots of empty plates all around me. Everyone was raving about how delicious their meal was. I ordered the Chili Verde and the next time I go to Fresh Agave I won't even need to see a menu because I'll be ordering it again. Absolutely delicious! Tender, juicy cubed pork in a fantastic sauce with just enough heat to be aware of but not enough to overpower the flavor accompanied with rice beans and really freshly made tasting flour tortillas. Because of the pandemic, there were years between my first visit and last night. There won't even be weeks between last night and my next visit. I said earlier that it was a night of excellent service. It ended exactly the same way with at least three employees thanking me on my way out for coming and wishing me a Happy Holiday.

Went here on a suggestion from a waitress at a hotel and she was right! The food was delicious, but the service from Jesus and staff were phenomenal. I will definately return next time I'm in the area.

This Mexican Restaurant was super busy when we arrived - however - food and drinks were flowing - bartenders were singing, smiling, happy - greeting people as soon as they arrived. They were all having fun with themselves and the customers around them. 1. Drinks - the Margarita was amazing!! So good and was served in less than 5 minutes even when bar was packed full! 2. Chips/Salsa - so good - chips were crisp - not greasy and the salsa was homemade for sure! 3. Main food - So good - we had burritos and grilled fish tacos - very generous portions with beans and rice - the food was hot, tasty and delivered about 10 minutes from the time we arrived - so fast. DEFINATELY would recommend this place - it has it all...

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the desert. I love that they have outdoor dining options (small front patio and a larger back patio), since nothing beats enjoying a warm evening with cocktails and food. First impressions are also key and they have been nothing but warm and welcoming everytime we've been. Their house chips and salsa are a great start and they pour the stiffest drinks than any other Mexican restaurant I've been to. I had a tequila soda and my husband a mezcal based margarita. Most recently I tried their chile relleno which was excellent and my husband ordered their crispy beef tacos. A big win in my book is their crispy taco shell is house made, not like those standard pre-made ones you'll find at Taco Bell. They definitely go the extra mile here, both in service and food!

Super fun, locals bar/restaurant in Palm Desert. Fantastic margaritas, chips, salsa and guac. Servers are fun and friendly! We drove 30 min out of our way to come here 2 days in a row. It's that good. It can get quite crowded at peak times, so consider going in between lunch and dinner. Definitely need to sit at one of the few bar tables if you can. We didn't sit on the restaurant side but it looked quiet/not as lively. This spot will always be top on my list when staying anywhere in Palm Springs area.

We were in the area exploring Anza Borrego State Park and stayed in Palm dessert and was looking for an easy dinner location after a whole day of hiking. Saw the reviews and decided to try this place. It was quick and fast service and nice ambience with all the decorations on the wall. We were seated promptly for a table of 2 on a Tuesday night at 8pm. It was crowded and we got the last table. We ordered the fajitas for 2 which includes beef, chicken, shrimp and calamari. We really enjoyed it and it was perfect for 2 people. If we were ever in the area, would definitely come back here again for the fajitas. Saw most people having margaritas and the waiter was trying to recommend it to us.
